Purple Bra Day
Hi All
What a FUN day!! First time doing this fundraiser and thoroughly enjoyed it. Organized a morning tea at a local cafe who kindly donated cupcakes with purple bras on them for my guests.
Our school had a 'Wine Drive' fundraiser that night, so went along wearing my bra, only to find others in my school community wearing them too!!
So many parents of our school community came up to me and thanked me for giving them an insight of what the BCFWA does for patients and families. It has given them a new perspective of what it is about and the difference between BCFWA & BCNA. Also, to realize just how affected you are when you have this disease. Very supportive and generous.
