Since 2007 I had my son (1st & only child right now), found my breast cancer, went through surgeries, chemo, ect... I had no idea that Tamoxifen was a choice. I figured that after chemo that I had to take it.
After about 2 1/2 years of taking it I had enough! I told my doctor that I was finished with it. To my surprise he didn't flinch or debate it. He said that what I've taken of it so far isn't that much different from the 5 yr mark. I was delighted! He said that… Continue

Hi, I just wanted to say how much I enjoy wearing my gorgeous purple boots. I tried to buy a pair last year when I heard about TPBB, but the shops I went to had sold out in my size...fortunately I was able to get a pair this year. I'm an artist who is blogging at
http://purpleshoesgirl.blogspot.com and living in a quite a small isolated community in Cooktown, so it's a great way for me to stand out…

Coursework writing is really not a peanut as I took it in the beginning when I was assigned a college coursework. It was really tough to find coursework help, even online coursework help. But you know internet is a magical world, sooner or later you come to the right place. So did I when I started searching online coursework help. But it took a lot of time of mine to find the exact material for writing my college coursework.
It is very essential to have the correct guidelines for…

There will come a time in most students' careers when they are assigned a
research paper. Such an assignment often creates a great deal of unneeded anxiety in the student, which may result in procrastination and a feeling of confusion and inadequacy. This anxiety frequently stems from the fact that many students are unfamiliar and inexperienced with this genre of writing. Never fear—inexperience and unfamiliarity are situations you can…

Hi All
What a FUN day!! First time doing this fundraiser and thoroughly enjoyed it. Organized a morning tea at a local cafe who kindly donated cupcakes with purple bras on them for my guests.
Our school had a 'Wine Drive' fundraiser that night, so went along wearing my bra, only to find others in my school community wearing them too!!
So many parents of our school community came up to me and thanked me for giving them an insight of what the BCFWA does for patients and…

The Subiaco FC this year sponsored the BCFWA and as my son plays for the club they asked me to be there ambassador for the day. What a great day it was! The ladies from BCFWA were there selling there wares, Ros had a talk, I had a talk (first time for everything) at the luncheon, I got to toss the coin and at the end of the game presented the awards. At half time of the league game we had afternoon tea in the board room and watch "Half time at the…

Hi there
Its been 10 days since I had my surgery - local wide excision and removal of all lymph's. I had the drain removed after a couple of days because it had blocked and this released 40ml of fluid within the immediate couple of hours following but nothing since.
My breast seems to have filled up again and my armpit is very sore - I keep being told this is normal!
Can anyone advise - will my body regulate this fluid naturally over the coming days or should I consider further…
