Hi Ness. Caught up and had coffee with Neridas partner Chas this morning and told him I had left a comment on purple boots site. He is coping and the two boys(5yrs and 8yrs) are still trying to come to terms of having no mum. Chas says the boys are keeping him on track, but says night time when boys are in bed till next morning when time to get them to school is the hard bit. The two boys are minature versions of mum.
Hi again Nona - sad to hear you lost your friend Nerida to breast cancer. Words cannot take away the pain we feel - but it is important as you have to remember the positive side of the people we miss. Thank you for sharing your story and your passion for assisting in getting the EARLY DETECTION SAVES LIVES message out to the community. Let the purple boots be a reminder that we all need to be breast aware so we can save the life of someone we love - or even our own.
