Well. Two weeks ago my courgeous sisinlaw had both breasts removed. After having a slight disagreement with the surgeon who wasnt listening very well, he agreed and said he would speak witht he docs at thee cancer clinic and work out dates. He wasnt listening to her at all at first. I had to take her in on a 'bad day' where she was vomiting and feeling unwell, but it was the appointed date to do so so off we went.
He kept going on about reconstruction even though she said no she didnt want it, just take the boobs and be done with it. I think he was affronted when she told him she preferred looking like a fella than having new boos to have to worry about.When she raised her voice so he would listen he asked her not to shout. I had to jump in then and ask him to listen to HER wishes. He calmed down and said they needed to do another mammogram on the left breast and she told him where to go with his mammograms. LOL. I know her sooo well and knew he wouldnt win this day.
ANyway a phone call a week later on the Monday, told her to be ready to go for surgery on the Friday.
