Why should I join the Purple Boot Brigade™?

In joining the Purple Boot Brigade you will be showing support while helping to raise awareness about breast cancer – ‘These Boots Were Made for Talking’.

This is also an opportunity to demonstrate your company’s commitment to diversity in the workplace by supporting this key ‘2007 Year of Women in Engineering’ activity.

By donning a pair of purple boots it visually shows that your staff and company are actively supporting the Breast Cancer Foundation of WA in its mission to:

• Support breast cancer sufferers and their families who face the challenges of life following diagnosis
• Spread the message that breast cancer does not discriminate against age, race or even gender and that early detection saves lives

The Steel Blue Foundation will donate $30 from the proceeds of every pair of purple boots to the Breast Cancer Foundation of WA.

The funds raised from the Purple Boot campaign will assist in funding the Breast Cancer Foundation of WA’s education and awareness initiatives.
