In June of this year I began my journey to cycle around Australia to raise awareness of breast cancer and much needed funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation of WA Inc. (BCFWA)
First I flew to Cairns and then to Bamaga, Mainland Australia's most northern town. From there I will cycle to the most northerly point Cape York and then head down the Cape York Peninsular and across the top end through Queensland, N.T. and into WA. As I head down the west coast I plan to ride to Australia's most western point, Steep Point. Then it will be head down until I arrive home in Perth in early September.
I decided to begin my bike4boobs journey because breast cancer has had a significant effect on my family and me as we lost my mother to the disease 6 years ago.
