The Red Rock sees Purple…

Thanks to Ralph Koch (Steel Blue) for getting the guys at BOC, Alice Springs, to supply my Purple Boots in time for the start of the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign. I went a bit further in the interest of the cause and got Hairdresser, Kelly Luke, of Yulara, to dye my 'goatee' an appropriate colour to go with my boots. She, in fact, has a pair of Purple boots herself, and those are hers together with mine in one of the photos.

I have been making a spectacle of myself for the past 4 days and everyone is very responsive and supportive when I tell them why I've got a purple beard and boots.
