For me it's about not being intimated by the colour of Purple Boots and My questions is "Why Not" there should be no reason why you wouldn't wear purple boots - and the fact that can wear them and raise awareness and funds for a worthy cause inspires me to wear them everywhere.

For me the cause is close to home, my mother is a breast cancer survivor, having been diagnosed in December 2006 - just before the purple boots were launched. I saw a way I could contribute to the awareness of breast cancer, a way I could encourgage other men to be involved and I have made it my goal to be actively raising money for the Foundation here in WA every opportunity I get. To date I have raised $10,000 as part of the annual Purple Bra Day.

Way to go Stephen - you know that all of us at BCFWA love you - but it's so great that men like you have chosen to be a part of getting the breast awareness message "out there"
