2010 Celebration of Women Long Table Lunch

Perth’s top chefs and caterer’s will be serving up a sumptuous four course luncheon, accompanied by fine wine/beer, entertainment from Daren Reid & The Soul City Groove and of course good company!

This stylish red carpet event aims to raise over $100,000 and with your support we can achieve this. Receiving no government funding, BCFWA relies on the generosity of the community to continue to provide its services free of charge.

The Long Table Lunch was started in 2004 by Faith Nichols of Comestibles, to commemorate the life of Pippin Bath, a prominent member of the Perth catering industry who lost her battle with breast cancer at the age of 37.

Each year since, we have honoured another brave woman who has lost her life to breast cancer. Now going into the seventh year for this event, more than 3250 people have attended the event, and over $324,000 has been raised to enable BCFWA to provide personalised support and care for those affected by breast cancer in WA.

We will celebrate the strength, courage and determination of so many Western Australian women who have fought a battle with breast cancer and survived. We will take the time to remember, reflect and celebrate the lives of those women who have bravely fought and lost their breast cancer battle.
